Born & raised in New York City,
Samantha started off doing theatre at LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts as a drama major. From there, she attended Hunter College working extensively both on & off stage. She is a graduate of the 2-year acting conservatory, Neighborhood Playhouse, in NYC. It was during her Shakespeare training at London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art where she met one of her key mentors, Yorgos Karamalegos with whom she’s trained with in UK, LA, and Paris.
Her tv work includes a recurring role on Marvel’s Iron Fist with directors’ Miguel Sapochnik (Game of Thrones) and Deborah Chow (Jessica Jones/The Mandalorian).
She directed her debut short film, Tales of a Shadowboxer, which won Best TV Pilot at Independent Shorts Award in Los Angeles.
In 2019, she hosted the backstage Q&A with filmmakers, actors, & creatives for Los Angeles Diversity Film Festival and was a judge for LADFF’s 2020 Virtual Festival. She is also a member of Women in Film LA & WIF Peer Mentorship Group.
Samantha continues to support, create, and share compelling, honest stories through tv, film & theatre in giving back what it has gifted her: a lifetime of learning, curiosity, and Hope.
Currently, she is writing a feature film.
